Our OpenWiFi HotSpots are a managed system – they check in with us every 5-10 minutes and tell us how they are doing, pick up any updates and collect information relevant to your site such as bandwidth limitations, redirect sites and the site password.
We didn’t bother with a web portal at first, as OpenWiFi is a cut down version of our HotSpots and, as such, is limited in its feature-set – it’s how we keep the cost down for you.
However, if you are lucky enough to own an iPhone, you will shortly be able to monitor your HotSpot in real-time via our OpenWiFi App – Reset the site password, change bandwidth settings and send your customers to your website all through a little application on your iPhone.
