I admit it. I missed a great opportunity when a production crew started filming on location here in Norfolk. It didn’t even cross my mind when I read about it in the local papers that they would need wireless network connectivity.
Luckily for Candengo though, Norfolk is one big NotSpot in terms of 3G access, so it wasn’t long before we got the call asking if there was anything we could do to help. 1 day later and there was 8MB internet access, some 6km from the nearest exchange. There was an internal VoIP network operating over the diverse set of temporary cabins. And there was a lot of happy people.
