Free WiFi HotSpot installation – Too Good to be true?

When looking for a WiFi HotSpot partner for your site, you may be tempted by those companies that offer everything for free – after all, why pay when it can be had for nothing?

The problem is though, it’s not a sustainable business model, and rumors are abound today after we saw a leaked email that one of the players in this field is having a spot of bother.  It’s a flawed model – it’s like BP or SHELL giving away free cars so they can live on the petrol and diesel revenue.   More than one company has failed in the last year – just look at Park and Marine (actually you can’t as they ceased trading) and it’s only going to get worse.

You also need to think about how losing your WiFi partner mid season could affect you – will you be left holding WiFi vouchers that are no longer useable?  Will your customers have paid for WiFi access online that is not being delivered?  Who are they going to complain to – that’s right, you!

The other thing to bear in mind as well is that you get what they want, you sell at their tariffs, and coverage is where they want it.  Don’t you want to be in control of such things?  We know of a holiday camp franchise who were forced to have a Free provider installation by their franchiser which covers just a small section of their park, and is priced far to high.  As a result, they don’t sell any access and their customers are not happy.

So, for a provider who won’t let you down , check out our range of paid for HotSpot solutions that won’t break the bank , starting from just £99.99 with no monthly fees.
